The Members

As the Wrexham Poker Society can only provide facilities for up to ten members, we have to split our members up into two status groups as follows:
Regular Members
The first ten members to join the Wrexham Poker Society will be put into this status group. The members of this status group will get the following benefits:
- Invitations to all upcoming society events
- Participation in the league
- Invitations to take part in casino trips
- Access to the members only forum
- and much more
If a regular member fails to turn up for two consecutive society events they will automatically loose their regular member status and as such will be replaced by a reserve member. If this does happen the regular member will not loose any league points they have gained up to that point however, they will not be able to gain any more league points whilst they are a reserve member.
Reserve Members
Once the first ten members have joined the Wrexham Poker Society, all additional members will be put into this status group, these members will get the following benefits:
- Invitations to upcoming society events (only when a regular member cant make it to an event)
- Invitations to take part in casino trips
- Access to the members only forum
- and much more
As a reserve member you cannot participate in the league and thus will not have to pay any league buy-in.
All reserve members do have the chance to gain regular member status if a regular member does not take part in two consecutive events. The member to have the chance to gain regular member status will be the member who has had reserve member status the longest, if that member does not want regular member status, he/she will be placed as the most recent reserve member then after this the next longest reserve member will have the chance to gain regular member status and so on.
Following this system ensures that the Wrexham Poker Society always has a full table at every society event that takes place.
