The Wrexham Poker Society was founded in January 2008 by James Godfrey and co-founded by Sean Griffiths, two poker playing fanatics.

James and Sean both had a passion for the game of poker and wanted to share that passion with like minded people, and so come up with the idea to start the poker society that lives today.

The society currently only has six members, however, with the sudden 'boom' in poker during the past few years they are positive that the number of members will increase very soon.

The society events are held as home games, so therefore they can only provide facilities for a maximum of ten members per event, for details of how the society works with more than ten members please visit the members section of the website.

The Wrexham Poker Society currently has plenty of items to use within the events including a ten seater poker table with bumper rail and legs, Copag 100% plastic playing cards, a blind timer DVD and much more.

So as you can see unlike other societies out there who just have basic table toppers and plastic coated playing cards, with the Wrexham Poker Society you will play the great game in style.
